Now that the Holly Fair is over I had to move onto those projects I should have said no to. All you crafters might get those projects I'm talking about. Someone finds out that you sew and they immediately have a job for you. Well JayLee's preschool asked me to do a Christmas Tree skirt. I hadn't ever done one but I said I would do it for her so here goes..... What do you think? If it were mine I would have had my quilter friend (mom) quilt on it for me but we were trying to keep the cost down and this will be fine for what it will be used for. If you are interested I could write up a tutorial for it I whipped it in a couple of hours.
There is another apron giveaway coming up within the next month stay tuned. Kortnie
So I'll torment you just a tiny bit: What shape did you cut the canopy out in? Oval? I think from there I could figure it out. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteIt kind of is an oval. I actually pinned my fabric to the handle of my car seat and then just cut the corners off so it didn't drag. This one is actually bigger than the ones I have seen.
ReplyDeleteHaha, sounds exactly like how I'd do it. :) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis one is actually bigger than the ones .

Love the little canopy for the car seat carrier. Wish they had those when my kiddos were younger. I just used a blanket. Lol.
ReplyDeleteLoved the tree skirt too.
